In case of flashing to upstands on roof sealings, flashing membranes must be secured against slipping off. Metal profiles are used to fix the sealing membrane in the upper area of the wall section of the flashing. In the case of trafficked roof areas, the flashing area must additionally be protected against mechanical damage at the required height, for example, with protective or covering metal sheets.
