Dry and loosely laid paving slabs with open gaps on waterproofed terraces and balconies are installed on alwitra paving slab supports. Due to the 6 mm open gaps between the paviours, rainwater is drained the shortest possible way, water is very quickly removed from the paviour surface. Rainwater outlets are concealed beneath paviours installed on supports. Installing paving slabs on supports reduces sound transmission to lower living spaces.

The paving slab supports are made of weather-resistant polyamide and placed under each cross joint of four paviours. The four bearings of the support are individually and continuously height adjustable from 30 to 50 mm. Spacers ensure a regular gap pattern.
